What You Bring:
- Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt between multiple campuses and age groups (Pre K–Transition, up to age 22)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Completion of fingerprinting as a credentialing requirement
Role Highlights:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in-person across a selection of elementary, middle, and high schools within the district
- Address a varied caseload, adjusting to student needs across different ages and school sites
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student growth
- Contribute to IEP meetings, goal-setting, and progress monitoring
- Support students in developing essential life and learning skills for greater classroom participation and independence
This contract position offers a robust schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week, with start and end times that reflect each school's daily schedule. The role does not offer remote or virtual options—your presence and hands-on care will directly impact students and the school community.
