Requirements:
- Licensure as Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Recent experience delivering therapy services in a school environment, preferably with K-12 populations
- Familiarity with school-based therapy documentation and IEP processes
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Adaptability to engage with diverse student needs across age groups
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to K-12 students, helping them access their curriculum and develop life skills
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings by recommending strategies, goals, and accommodations as needed
- Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with policies and timelines
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
