Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active NM state (NMRLD) license required by the start of the assignment
- NMPED license required; applications in pending status will be considered
- Experience working with school-aged (elementary) populations as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration with staff, families, and students
- Passion for creating supportive, accessible learning environments
- Previous teletherapy or school-based OT experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual occupational therapy services to elementary students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs) with a manageable caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Perform assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
- Participate in virtual meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development
