Occupational Therapist School Setting in Everett, WA

Desired Background and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly preferred
- Solid grasp of IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
- Skillful in providing direct, consultative, and collaborative services

- Compassionate communicator who connects well with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional skills and develop appropriate OT intervention plans
- Deliver therapy services individually or in groups according to student IEPs
- Document progress and communicate results with team members and families
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP planning, and facilitate transitions
- Offer strategies to support fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills in the school environment
- Provide consultative guidance to teachers and classroom staff for accommodations and modifications
