Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- Previous experience working within school settings (required)
- Strong knowledge of IEPs, assessments, and tailored intervention plans
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 50+ students with varying needs
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for elementary through high school students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services, supporting students’ educational access and participation
- Conduct assessments, contribute to IEPs, and track student progress
- Collaborate daily with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Develop and implement intervention strategies targeting fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skills
- Consult with educational teams to modify classroom environments and recommend accommodations
- Maintain timely records and adhere to all district, state, and federal compliance requirements
