Qualifications & Certifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapy (OT) License required
- Background in school-based OT services strongly preferred
- Current credentials and certifications as required by California guidelines
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Previous school caseload experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students, working individually and in groups as needed
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to educational goals
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all state and district requirements
- Collaborate with special education teams, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Consult with teachers regarding environmental adaptations and classroom modifications
- Manage a defined student caseload, performing assessments, IEP participation, and progress monitoring
