We're seeking skilled and independent Occupational Therapists to provide essential services in a dynamic school environment. One full-time opening follows a typical extended school year calendar, while the second is a full-time maternity leave coverage, projected to start in August and end in March.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience providing OT services in California schools
- Familiarity with administering the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for students aged 3-22 with various disabilities
- Strong data-driven approach to addressing parent concerns and informing service recommendations
- Ability to independently manage fluctuating caseloads, including assessments and consultations
- Comfort working in the field with minimal district support—self-motivated scheduling required
- Experience with itinerant positions highly advantageous
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
- Required to work autonomously; no COTAs or supervised roles available
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT assessments, consultations, and interventions for a mild-to-severe caseload
- Serve students with diverse needs, supporting IEP goals and addressing adaptive, fine motor, and sensory processing skills
- Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and support staff to maximize student success
- Adapt to changing district needs and caseloads
- Maintain high standards of documentation and ethical practice
