This position supports a cross-categorical caseload, providing essential occupational therapy services in an itinerant school-based setting. With a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, you'll make a lasting impact on students as you travel between campuses, addressing a variety of needs and helping each child reach their potential.
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: End of the 2026-2027 school year
Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Age Group: Cross categorical, various school sites
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Demonstrated experience within school settings or pediatric clients
- Familiarity with home health and healthcare OT practices is a plus
- Comfortable working across various campuses and supporting diverse student populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across multiple school locations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Document progress and provide thorough reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each child and environment
