Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, accessible educational environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect OT services to students, both individually and in groups
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop targeted treatment plans and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and functional success
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress throughout the year
- Offer guidance to staff on classroom adaptations and best OT practices
