Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting diverse learners from preschool through adult transition ages! This contract role offers full-time hours for the 2026-2027 school year, delivering essential OT services onsite across multiple school locations near Riverside, CA.
Use your clinical skills and independent problem-solving abilities in a dynamic educational environment. Your expertise will ensure students with varying abilities receive individualized interventions to foster their functional and academic success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Strong background working in school settings within CA
- Experience administering the BOT 3 and Peabody assessments to individuals ages 3-22 with mild to severe disabilities
- Skilled in data-informed decision making, supporting recommendations for services, and addressing family concerns
- Confident working independently—capable of building your own schedule and managing fluctuating caseloads as student needs evolve
- Comfortable providing OT services for approximately 70-80 students across 6 schools, with travel between sites required
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory
Your Role Includes:
- Delivering OT interventions aligned with IEP goals for diverse student populations
- Conducting assessments, consultations, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Collaborating with families and school staff, utilizing clear data to guide and explain service recommendations
- Managing assessments and support for a fluid caseload, adapting quickly as student needs change
- Independently navigating responsibilities with minimal district oversight
