Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Georgia Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
- Thorough understanding of IEPs and documentation practices
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Monitor student progress, track data, and report on outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal development and accommodations
- Educate and counsel students, families, and staff on strategies to promote student participation and engagement
- Maintain accurate, compliant records in accordance with school and state guidelines
