Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Role Summary
A school district in Forsyth, Georgia is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K–12 students throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
A primary focus of this position will be supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants while helping ensure that students receive appropriate, consistent, and legally compliant occupational therapy services.

Assignment Details
• K–12 student population
• Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week
• Five-day workweek
• Caseload and school assignments will be discussed during the interview process
• Position will primarily involve supervision and oversight of COTAs
• Additional direct and consultative services may be assigned based on district needs

Required Credentials
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license
• Current NBCOT certification or other required professional credentials
• Previous pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
• Experience supervising COTAs is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities
• Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Review treatment documentation, progress updates, and service delivery
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and screenings as needed
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct or consultative occupational therapy services when appropriate
• Support students with fine-motor, sensory-processing, visual-motor, mobility, and functional participation needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and student-support meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements

• Completion of all district onboarding requirements
• Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by Georgia and the district
• Verification of active Georgia Occupational Therapist licensure
• Verification of professional certification and credentials
• Internal eligibility interview
