Your key qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (CCA OT License required)
- Previous experience working as an OT in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and fellow support staff
- Commitment to nurturing student independence and success
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across assigned school sites (locations to be determined)
- Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans to address students’ academic and functional needs
- Maintaining consistent documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating on goal development
- Educating staff and families on best practices and supportive strategies for student progress
- Working proactively as part of an interdisciplinary team to help students thrive
This full-time position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek. As a school-based OT, you’ll have the opportunity to influence both individual student growth and the overall learning environment, all while enjoying the unique culture and scenery of the region.
