Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fort Jones, CA
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital Occupational Therapy services in a supportive K-12 educational environment. Key Qualifications:
• Active Occupational Therapy license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to design and carry out individualized intervention plans
• Adaptability and commitment to fostering student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment, evaluation, and intervention services for K-12 students
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and case conferences
• Offer guidance and education to staff and families regarding strategies and accommodations
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices
