This assignment covers an OT maternity leave from January through the end of the school year. The standard schedule is 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM; however, there is flexibility based on your availability—even part-time participation is welcomed and will be accommodated.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Indiana (or eligibility).
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred.
- Understanding of pediatric therapy principles and IEP processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and varying student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to state/school policy.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student development plans.
