Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (required)
- Holds active OT license, or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations in educational or clinical settings
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions for school-aged children
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptable, empathetic, and committed to supporting diverse learners
- Previous school-based OT experience is beneficial, though motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ learning and participation
- Provide guidance and strategies for classroom and home environments to help students achieve their goals
- Engage in team meetings and assist with program development as needed
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
