What We're Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based setting required; high school caseload preferred
- Comfortable working onsite and adapting to various therapy delivery models, including teletherapy and healthcare/home health
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
- Organizational abilities to manage caseload documentation and progress tracking efficiently
- Dedication to empowering students in their school environments
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to high school students, focusing on goals outlined in IEPs
- Assess students’ needs and develop tailored intervention plans to support academic success and independence
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student supports and accommodations
- Employ a mix of hands-on and teletherapy methods as needed for optimal service delivery
