School Occupational Therapist | Fremont, California

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license (or eligibility) in California
- Previous pediatric, school, or educational setting experience preferred
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning and physical needs
- Collaborative mindset for effective partnership with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement IEP-based treatment plans focused on student success
- Deliver targeted interventions for fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional academic skills
- Document progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Educate and consult with educators and parents to support carryover of therapy strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all services provided
