Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in North Carolina
- Experience working in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Skilled in delivering therapy services both individually and in group settings
- Strong communication and collaborative abilities
- Adaptable, organized, and passionate about student development
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across multiple school sites, addressing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans focused on each child’s unique strengths and needs
- Consult with teachers, families, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute insight to support student progress
