Desired Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina
- Experience with or strong interest in working within K-12 settings
- Familiarity with IEP process, evaluations, and progress reporting in educational environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work with educators, students, and families
- Ability to travel between school locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments for students across multiple school sites
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting students’ functional skills
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective delivery of therapy services
- Document and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Attend meetings and participate in IEP teams to advocate for student needs
