Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Colorado
- Prior experience with pediatrics and/or school-based therapy strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEPs and familiarity with adapting therapeutic interventions for the classroom
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseloads, maintain documentation, and adapt to new educational settings as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Implement therapy sessions, both individual and group, tailored to school-aged children
- Consult regularly with classroom staff, special education teams, and families to support students’ progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide documentation, and help ensure compliance with educational guidelines
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that motivates students to achieve therapy goals
