Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based, pediatric, or youth-centered setting highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and assess individualized needs in collaboration with faculty and families
- Develop and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions to meet each student’s IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district or state policies
- Provide consultation, resources, and in-service education for staff and caregivers
- Support student access to curriculum, self-care, functional motor skills, and adaptive equipment recommendations
