Your expertise will play a vital role in promoting independence, developing fine motor and sensory-motor skills, and helping students thrive in their school environment. This is a full-time position, with workdays totaling 7.5 hours, spanning from ASAP through June 11, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Valid WA Occupational Therapist License
- Fingerprints cleared through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- Experience or competence in a school-based OT setting
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills with children, staff, and families
- Commitment to in-person therapy services exclusively
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy sessions
- Evaluate students and develop targeted intervention plans based on IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district regulations
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Contribute to an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students
