Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and therapeutic intervention
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt activities and strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Familiarity with relevant school documentation and compliance standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote student independence
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure integrated support
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Encourage student participation in classroom and school activities
- Deliver both direct and consultative services as needed
