Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- IVP Fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy
- Comfort supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Background in OT within educational, home health, or healthcare environments preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Travel between elementary and junior high campuses as required
- Oversee and collaborate with a COTA to ensure quality service delivery
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and track progress/documentation
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Uphold all professional standards, ethical guidelines, and reporting requirements
- Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
