Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based Setting

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team in Glen Ellyn, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with children and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ academic and developmental success.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
- Complete evaluations, assessments, and individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement interventions that support students’ participation in school activities.
- Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills as appropriate.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other members of the student support team.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students’ educational goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Occupational Therapist license/eligibility to practice in Illinois.
- Experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students reach their academic and functional potential.
