Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona OT license required
- Active AZ fingerprint clearance card needed prior to starting
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is highly valued
- Demonstrated skill in working with students with a range of needs, including Autism, DD, and Down syndrome
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to attend meetings before and after school as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a varied caseload (K-8), focusing on evaluations and interventions adapted to the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate actively in school meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student success
- No supervision of COTAs required
What You’ll Experience:
- 32.5-hour workweeks, with typical hours between 8am and 3pm or 8:40am to 3:30pm—offering a balanced schedule
