Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) for the state
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to work full-time, on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ functional abilities and needs for therapeutic support
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote optimal outcomes
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and advocacy for students
- Support and empower students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
- Mentor or provide guidance to less experienced team members when needed
