What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina (SC OT license required)
- Previous experience providing OT services in schools or to pediatric populations preferred
- Proficiency with individualized education plans (IEPs), goal setting, and progress documentation
- Adaptability working across multiple school sites as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and student support teams
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess student needs and develop therapeutic interventions aimed at increasing functional independence and academic participation
- Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress with school staff and parents
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrators to adapt instructional materials and classroom environments
- Contribute to team meetings and IEP development processes
- Travel between assigned school locations within the district as necessary
