Step into a rewarding school-based Occupational Therapy position where you’ll make a meaningful difference for elementary students across three buildings. This full-time contract opportunity runs from January 11, 2027 through April 13, 2027, providing direct support and creative strategies to help young learners thrive. With a dedicated caseload and structured schedule, you’ll have both consistency and variety in your week.
As an OT in this engaging setting, your week will center around providing direct services—Monday and Wednesday focus on groups of ten students, Tuesday eight, and Thursday seven. Fridays are reserved for testing, paperwork, and preparation, helping you maintain a balanced workflow and high-quality service.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy license
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based OT
- Ability to manage a rotating caseload across multiple school sites
- Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working with elementary-age students
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to assigned elementary students as scheduled
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop/implement individualized intervention plans
- Keep up-to-date documentation and progress notes
- Utilize Fridays for assessment, paperwork, and collaborative planning
