Key Qualifications:
- Credentialed Occupational Therapist, with valid OT license
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy (preK-12 preferred)
- Familiarity with IEPs, goal writing, evaluations, and direct interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to various age groups, backgrounds, and learning needs
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Document progress and communicate outcomes to educators and families
- Participate in IEP and team meetings to collaborate on student support plans
- Consult with staff on classroom strategies to promote student independence and success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
