Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across two schools
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies in classrooms
- Support students in building fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster an inclusive and positive school environment
