Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, valid OT licensure for Massachusetts
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, goal setting, and data collection
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies for students of various ages and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Evaluate, document, and identify individual student needs to create personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student progress
- Consult with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Keep thorough and accurate records of progress and services provided
- Travel between two assigned schools within the district as part of the caseload
