Step into a rewarding contract role delivering Occupational Therapy services across multiple school sites near Great Falls, SC, for the 2026-2027 academic year. Engage with students at Kershaw Elementary, North Elementary, and Andrew Jackson Middle and High Schools, providing crucial onsite support and intervention. This position plays an important part in fostering student independence and functional success in a school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy (OT) license for South Carolina (SC)
- Experience working in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for elementary, middle, and high school students
- Familiarity with IEP process and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation to travel between multiple school locations as needed
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable objectives
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Facilitate carryover of therapy strategies in the classroom environment
Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Full academic year: July 27, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- 35 to 37.5 hours per week, onsite only (no virtual/VOCO options)
- Service multiple campuses in Lancaster and Kershaw, SC
