Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT licensure in the state or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to perform thorough evaluations
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess students’ needs and implement evidence-based treatments to enhance educational access and participation
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and service delivery per district and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student-centered interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for adaptations, modifications, and accommodations
- Travel between sites as needed to ensure student services are delivered effectively
