Key Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of implementing IEPs and adapting interventions based on student needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to students across all grade levels, K-12, following established IEP goals
- Collaborate with educational professionals and support staff to facilitate student access and participation in the school environment
- Adapt strategies and interventions to support individual student needs within academic, social, and functional settings
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of progress and ensure adherence to compliance standards
- Participate in team meetings to review student progress and coordinate care
