School Occupational Therapist

Soliant has partnered with a school in Gresham, OR, and is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist to specialize in treating students in Life Skills classrooms.
The position is full-time, and will cover several sites for the 26-27 school year.
Requirements:
- Oregon OT license
- Previous schools or pediatrics experience strongly preferred
Pay and benefits:
- Hourly, W2 pay of $52 to $60/hr
- Health, vision and dental insurance
- Employer matched 401(k)
- Paid sick leave
As a school-based Occupational Therapist, the candidate will:
- Evaluate newly referred students and conduct periodic assessments of current students
- Determine if new students are eligible for services; write reports to communicate findings to staff and families
- Develop a therapy plan and IEP goals in accordance with evaluation results
- Consult with teachers, parents, other staff members and private medical professionals
- Manage and make minor repairs to various OT equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliant documentation of treatment logs and student progress
