You’ll be servicing students throughout the district, providing essential therapy to help them succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
This school-based role runs from ASAP through late May 2027, providing stability for your next career step. Your expertise will ensure students receive the high-quality care and personalized support they need, working in collaboration with school teams and families.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio OT or COTA certification (compact licensure also accepted)
- Experience working with school-aged populations highly preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based OT practices and relevant documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students with varying needs
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions focused on each student’s IEP goals
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in meetings, therapy team reviews, and professional development sessions
