Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience in school settings, home health, or teletherapy strongly preferred
- Strong grasp of gross motor skill development and interventions
- Ability to work collaboratively with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), educators, and families
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, focusing on gross and fine motor development
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student needs and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
- Provide resources, adaptations, and consultation to COTAs and school personnel
- Track student progress and maintain thorough records, following all compliance requirements
- Support students both directly in-person and, where applicable, through teletherapy platforms
