Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience in a school-based OT setting is preferred
- Comfortable with traveling between multiple sites within the district
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in creating and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted OT services to students across several school locations within the district
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff for student-centered interventions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Adapt therapy approaches for a diverse caseload, ensuring student engagement and progress
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to interdisciplinary planning
