Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license
- Experience providing OT services in a school setting (K-12 preferred)
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to various age groups and learning profiles
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers and families
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite for the contract’s duration
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct OT services to students, focusing on enhancing participation in school activities
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school standards
- Consult and collaborate with classroom staff, special educators, and families
- Modify interventions based on student growth and adjust plans as needed
- Fulfill all required reporting and participate in IEP teams as appropriate
