Make an impact across multiple school communities by providing essential Occupational Therapy services onsite throughout the upcoming school year. With several elementary and secondary sites in beautiful South Carolina, you'll bring your clinical expertise to support student growth in inclusive educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license (required)
- Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Skilled in creating and implementing IEP goals
- Comfortable working onsite at multiple campuses within the district
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation services to students across Kershaw Elementary, North Elementary, Andrew Jackson Middle, and Andrew Jackson High
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation for all services provided
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Communicate progress and strategies to staff and families to ensure student success
- Travel between sites as scheduled within Lancaster and Kershaw areas
