School Occupational Therapist - Hemet, California

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
- Demonstrated experience in school-based OT practice
- Comfort utilizing home health, teletherapy, and in-person OT approaches
- Familiarity with K-5 developmental stages and appropriate OT interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services in various settings (onsite, teletherapy, or home health, as needed)
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes
- Consult with teachers and school teams to support classroom accommodations
- Engage with families to promote continuity of care and reinforce strategies at home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
