Key Qualifications:
- Valid license as an Occupational Therapist, with eligibility to practice in North Carolina
- Previous experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings is highly valued
- Strong background working with students ages 3-18, including developing and implementing IEPs
- Solid understanding of sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skill development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with an adaptable, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services for PreK-12th grade students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and craft tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families for integrated, whole-child support
- Develop, monitor, and document progress on IEP goals, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Share strategies with staff and parents to foster student growth in school and home environments
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture through professional collaboration
