Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Virginia
- Experience delivering OT services in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills for academic success
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized goals, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and other related service providers to ensure integrated support
