Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist School Setting in Highland, CA

Desired Qualifications:
• Current Occupational Therapy license and relevant certification
• At least one year of experience working as an OT, preferably in schools
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and best practices
• Expertise in assessing and implementing interventions for students with diverse needs
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and manage a dynamic caseload
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct student assessments to identify fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills challenges
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to modify classroom environments and support student participation
• Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families for ongoing support
• Adhere to all professional and ethical standards within the school environment
