Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based OT preferred
- Strong understanding of child development, sensory processing, and educational adaptations
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy for diverse K-12 populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress within the school setting
- Consult with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities and environments for student success
- Document assessments, goals, and progress in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations to support student achievement
