With a part-time schedule of 20-25 hours per week, you'll have the opportunity to foster meaningful change across four diverse school sites, utilizing your skills and creativity to provide essential therapy services.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Louisiana Occupational Therapy license required
- Prior experience working in educational or pediatric settings is highly preferred
- Ability and willingness to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Confident in conducting Pre-K evaluations
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to students at four designated schools
- Conduct in-depth Pre-K evaluations, primarily scheduled for Fridays
- Provide services and support on Tuesdays and Wednesdays across multiple campuses
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve functional outcomes
- Supervise and mentor a COTA, ensuring quality delivery of therapy interventions
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
