Qualifications:
- Active and valid Louisiana Occupational Therapy License required
- Prior experience delivering OT services in school settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable traveling to multiple school sites within the week
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff, students, and families
- Open to working with and supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Knowledge of IEP process and relevant documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students across various age groups
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to facilitate optimal student success
- Supervise and support COTA(s) as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in ongoing communication with school teams and caregivers
