This part-time onsite position involves working 20-25 hours per week with services scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and dedicated PreK evaluations on Fridays. You’ll be supporting students across four school campuses, collaborating with educators and families, and playing a key role in student development. The role also includes supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Louisiana OT license (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise and support a COTA
- Comfortable working across multiple campuses
- Passion for helping students achieve their highest potential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across four school sites
- Plan and execute therapy sessions based on IEPs and students’ individual needs
- Complete PreK evaluations as scheduled on Fridays
- Supervise COTA to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, teachers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
