An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference within a supportive educational community. This contract role offers the chance to deliver vital services to K-12 students onsite throughout the school year, playing a key role in fostering their growth and development.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Previous experience working within a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, accommodations, and documentation requirements
- Skilled communicator, adaptable, and collaborative in a multidisciplinary environment
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload across K-12 age groups
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans that address students’ functional needs in academic settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation for service eligibility and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
- Engage in professional development to ensure application of best practices in school-based OT
This is a full-time contract position scheduled to begin immediately and extend through June 11, 2027, offering stability, a vibrant school environment, and the opportunity for meaningful impact.
